In its Constitution, BCAEM identified advocacy for common local, regional, provincial or national emergency management issues as its one of its purposes.  Advocacy is also identified as a key role of the Association in the Strategic Plan.   The following is a list of submissions made to various levels of government regarding emergency management issues.

BCAEM believes that advocacy goes both ways from the membership and to the membership. To promote sharing of emergency management information, we have reached out to Emergency Management British Columbia (EMBC) to obtain and share information more broadly to the emergency management world. Here we will share information received from EMBC.
